As I sit here drinking my coffee this morning, I am thinking about Mary and Joseph...they had been traveling for so long and Mary on a donkey! How fun was that? On this the eve of the most important birth of all time so many years ago, do you think they had any idea how much their lives were going to change? Not only because their new baby was about to be on the scene but because He was the Son of God, the Savior of the nations, the KING of Kings...wow! My heart is full just imagining the night of our dear Savior's birth...I really doubt it was SILENT but it was SACRED! Stop and think about that night...Christmas Eve...what a joyous occasion to celebrate!
My EVERYTHING was born in a manger...the beginning of it all. The reason He came. It had to start with His birth. No other child would be more worthy of WORSHIP and ADORATION in all of time. He is the CHRIST child...the ALPHA and OMEGA. He is TRUTH...the only WAY to the FATHER. The only way to restore seperation from the CREATOR. HOLY God. This birth was the beginning of SALVATION for man! SALVATION: eternal life, freedom, deliverence, healing, wholeness, restoration...nothing broken, nothing missing! With His birth, we have everything we need to experience HEAVEN on EARTH! We can walk in this KINGDOM and have PEACE on EARTH!
